WE WILL BE OFFERING THE NEW ONLINE TN CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT COURSE. NO LONGER WILL YOU NEED TO ATTEND THE 8 HOUR COURSE, BUT INSTEAD YOU'LL HAVE THE OPTION TO TAKE A 90 MINUTE ONLINE COURSE IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME. THEN, AFTER COMPLETING THE ONLINE EXAM YOU WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE NEAREST FULL-SERVICE DMV AND SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION FOR YOUR PERMIT. Yes, IT'S THAT SIMPLE!

TN Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit Course (This course is NOT being offered at this time.)
This course is taught by a certified instructor and covers handgun carry and deadly force laws in the state of Tennessee and prepares students for both the written qualifications and firing range test. Students
are required to attend a certified handgun safety course and succesfully pass to qualify for a TN Handgun Carry Permit. The course will cover permit application procedure, weapon safety, State and Federal laws, deadly force and justification for use. Graduates of this course will receive the certification required to apply for a handgun carry permit in the state of Tennessee. EACH STUDENT WILL NEED A HANDGUN, 50 RNDS OF AMMO, AND A HOLSTER. LUNCH AND DRINKS ARE INCLUDED.
Cost: $75.00
Please note: The physical school location is 2254 Cherry Street in Rutledge. 291 Cedar Rock Lane, Rutledge TN 37861 is the mailing address only.
You will need the following:-The permit process now begins with each student applying for a permit online where you will receive a confirmation number that you will provide to me and I will then add you to the roster for the class date of your choice. -Handgun (Although it is not a requirement, I strongly recommend using the handgun you will actually carry. See the FAQ section for more info on this.)
-Holster
-50 rounds of ammo
-Eye & Ear protection are provided but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer
Cost: $75 (Lunch is included.)
- A $25 deposit is required at time of registration. If for some reason you are unable to attend, it will be applied to another class date of your choice.
You need to be able to load & unload the firearm you are using and operate it correctly and safely in order to participate in this class. No exceptions! If you do not know how to preform the tasks above, you will not be permitted to take the carry permit class. You would either need to sign up for our basic handgun class, or have someone that is knowledgeable about firearms to give you proper instruction and then practice before taking the TN Handgun Carry Permit Class.
